Welcome
Welcome
to the Unitarian
Universalist Society of Laconia. We are a liberal congregation
of more than one hundred members and friends. We invite you to join
us if you are looking for a spiritually nurturing, socially responsible,
open, religious community. We have been the liberal voice of religion
in the Lakes Region for over 170 years. We are a welcoming congregation
and are proud of recent efforts to make our building accessible for
people with walking difficulties.
Mission Statement
The Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia exists to foster
liberal religion, promote a reverence for truth, encourage spiritual
and intellectual growth within the society and community, provide
education in the ways of liberal religious tradition, and challenge
each other to express our beliefs in action. We therefore commit
to provide a safe space with an open and affirming atmosphere
in which each person's inherent worth and dignity is respected.

Worship
Worship is held every Sunday, September to June, at 10 am. Child
care is provided. A social hour follows the service at which children
are welcome.
Religious Education
We are proud of our religious education program because our children
love coming to church. From September through May, classes are
held concurrent with the adult Sunday service for children preschool
through fifth grade. Please read more about our Religious Education Program.
The church facility
is available to non-members as well as members, for the spiritual
needs in their lives, such as weddings, funerals, meetings, etc.

And to help one another. |
