Welcome

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia.  We are a liberal congregation of more than one hundred members and friends. We invite you to join us if you are looking for a spiritually nurturing, socially responsible, open, religious community. We have been the liberal voice of religion in the Lakes Region for over 170 years. We are a welcoming congregation and are proud of recent efforts to make our building accessible for people with walking difficulties.

Worship

Worship is held every Sunday, September to June, at 10 am. Child care is provided.  A social hour follows the service at which children are welcome.

Religious Education

We are proud of our religious education program because our children love coming to church. From September through May, classes are held concurrent with the adult Sunday service for children preschool through fifth grade. Please read more about our RE Program.

Hopeful Hearts For Haiti

In response to the tragic human loss and devastation following the January earthquake in Haiti, friends and members of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia have crafted a beautiful quilt to raise funds for Haitian earthquake relief. Over the course of the summer, the quilt will be raffled and the funds that are raised will be donated to Doctors without Borders and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee for their humanitarian work in rebuilding Haiti.

Tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00.  The drawing will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010.
See pictures of the quilt in this month's beacon.

Click here to print your tickets.  Fill them out and mail them along with your donation to:  Hopeful Hearts; Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia; 62 Pleasant St; Laconia, NH  03246
